Anthony L Monteleone

Anthony “Tony” Monteleone, 64 of Sheffield Lake passed away at his home on Friday, September 5, 2025. He was a very hard worker who enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing with his grandsons, and playing music with his guitar. He also spent time as a softball coach for youth little league. Tony’s greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

Tony is survived by his loving wife, Frieda; stepdaughters, Jessica Buchanan (Brad) and Tonya Provence (Skyler); 15 grandchildren; father, Joseph Monteleone of Lorain; siblings, Mark (Peggy) of Columbus, Marie Bruce (Howard) of Elyria, Christopher (Beverly) of Elyria, Little Joey of Elyria, Michael (Diane) of Sullivan, Dominic of Huron, David (Hope) of Aurora; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Norma; stepson, Anthony Capp; brother, Vincent (2021); and two grandchildren, Emma and Collin Provence.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 12 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland St., Elyria where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13 at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
