Carolyn Sue (nee Isenhart) White, 80, of Elyria, Ohio passed away at her home surrounded by her family who loved her. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Franklin Lee and Thelma Loretta (nee Roe) Isenhart; two brothers, Bradford and Charles Isenhart; son-in-law, Terrance “Terry” Martinak; and sister-in-law, Karol Isenhart.
Carolyn Sue devoted her life to her family, especially to her granddaughter, Ella Rose White. She was an employee for the Elyria City Schools for fifty years. She began as a lunch monitor then worked her way up to Head Cashier.
Carolyn Sue was also a member of the Elyria Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed bowling for several years. She was a talented seamstress and could fix almost any garment. She loved and enjoyed gardening and planting flowers.
Carolyn Sue leaves behind her husband of 62 years, Hershel Gerald White; son, Hershel Gerald “Jerry” (Nancy) White, Jr.; daughter, Tami Sue White Martinak; special granddaughter, Ella Rose White; (all of Elyria, Ohio); and brothers, Delmas “Buster” Isenhart, Johnnie (Angela) Isenhart, both of Glenville, West Virginia; a sister, Phyllis (Jim) Calhoun of Elyria, Ohio; sister-in-law, Betty Isenhart of Elyria, Ohio; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home at 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, Ohio on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm for visitation. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 11:00 am, Officiated by Pastor Glenn Dunn, with Interment to follow at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria, Ohio.
