Dallas C. France

Dallas Curtis France completed his life’s journey on December 11, 2023 just the way he lived his life – with dignity and pride. Dallas approached life as a great adventure with purpose, strength, and determination. He was a graduate of Elyria City Schools and served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division out of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina during the Cuban crisis. Dallas traveled throughout the United States, living from Los Angeles, CA to Jersey City, NJ, but the place that he called home was Elyria, OH.

Dallas is survived by his daughters, Chavonne France of San Diego, CA and Alyssa France of Jersey City, NJ; grandchildren, Charde, Christian, Christopher, and Brandon; siblings, James France of Elyria, Edyie Rideau of Oberlin, Cathy France of Elyria, and Evelyn France of Elyria; along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dover and Ann France; and a sister, Barbara France-Bowen.

Dallas requested a private family funeral, and that request is being honored by his family.
