David L. Bonk

David L. Bonk, 69 of Elyria, passed away on May 6, 2023. He was a self-employed painter who loved model railroad trains, shooting pool, and playing poker with his friends.  He was a long-time member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Elyria.  The most important thing in David’s life was his family and he will be greatly missed by them.

David is survived by his daughters, Misty Skladan and Michelle Bonk (Jeanne); granddaughters, Claire Skladan (Jeff) and Abigail Skladan; great grandchildren, Matthew and Kaleigha Skladan; and his cat, “Sox”.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Agnes Bonk.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, June 3 at 1:00 pm at St. Jude Catholic Church, 590 Poplar St., Elyria.
