Deborah B. Jennings

Deborah B. Jennings (nee Anderson) 81 of Elyria, passed away at her daughter’s home on Monday, April 1, 2024. She was a very sweet, although feisty and opinionated lady. Deborah enjoyed playing cards and Bingo; coloring; playing the lottery pull tabs; and flower gardening.  She had a great love of West Virginia, where she was born, and she also loved her Labs. Her recipes will live on through her family and she will be greatly missed on the fun family road trips which she cherished. Deborah’s greatest love was spending time with her family, especially with her very special great granddaughter KarLeigh Rae whom she loved more than anything.

Deborah is survived by her loving children, Becky Smith (Randy), Pam Bene (Bob), and Christopher Jennings (Daisy); beloved grandchildren, Adam Gale, Ryan Smith, Erin Gale, Taylor Smith, Joe Gale, Nick Bene, Zach Bene, David Jennings, and Katie Jennings; her special granddaughter Amber Jensen whose dedication and care was greatly appreciated; and her great granddaughter, KarLeigh Rae Smith. They will forever miss DebJ47!

Deborah was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ralph, daughter, Betsy Gale, parents, Ray and Gertrude Anderson, brother, Patrick Anderson, and a special friend, Reba Jo Maynard.

A private family celebration will be held later.

Heaven’s gain is our loss as we’ll never forget her warm laugh and big smile!
