Elizabeth 'Betty' M. Girman, 98, of Elyria, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023. She was a dedicated, life-long charter member of St. Jude Church, having been active in the Altar and Rosary Society, Auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary, and St. Frances Xavier Mission Circle #24. Betty had also been a Den Mother for both Cub Scout and Boy Scout Troop #133. Betty loved watching her grandchildren's sports.
Betty is survived by her children, John (Sue) Girman, Jean Clapham (Mike, deceased), and Rob (Jeanie) Girman; grandchildren, Heather Pelphrey (Chris), Kristi Finnegan (Patrick), Brett Clapham (Tara), and J. R. Girman (Tiffany); great-grandchildren, Grayson Girman, Jayce Girman, Skylar Pelphrey, Patrick Finnegan, Pierce Finnegan, Peyton Finnegan, Aiden Clapham, Brynlee Clapham, Dylan Popovich, and Raelyn Page; along with several nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, John and Louise Schuster; and a brother, Jack Schuster.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland St., Elyria, and Friday, December 15, 2023 from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday, December 15, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude Church, 590 Poplar St., Elyria, followed by the burial at St. Mary Cemetery.
