Evelyn M Webber

Evelyn M. Webber (nee Tkacs), 88 years old, of Elyria passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Avon Oaks Nursing Home. She was born on May 9, 1934 in Elyria, and lived here for most of her life. She was a 1952 graduate of Elyria High School, and was a member of St. Jude Church. She was employed as a machinist at General Motors in Parma for 25 years, retiring in 1992. She enjoyed playing bingo.

Evelyn is survived by three sons, Kenneth A. (Cheryl) of Avon Lake, Raymond S. (Sarah Satterfield) and Robert J. (Debbie) both of  Elyria; daughter, Sandra Webber of Grafton; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Webber in 2003; son, Donald Webber in 1977; parents, Michael and Vera (nee Gemka) Tkacs; and sisters, Lillian Fildes and Dorothy Barnett.

There will be a private family visitation.  The Mass of Christian Burial will held at St. Jude Catholic Church, 590 Poplar St., Elyria on Saturday, March 18 at 11:00 am, followed by the burial at St. Mary Cemetery in Elyria.
