Geraldine Collins-Smith

Gerri Collins-Smith, 84 of Elyria passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023. She was a lady who just loved to be around people.  She loved to dance, travel, and mostly, spending time with her grandchildren. Gerri was an award-winning salesperson wherever she worked, especially at Olan Mills and Nelson Photography.  She also ran her own consulting firm for a few years.

Gerri is survived by her children, Michelle Siwierka, Stephanie Moore, and Brian Winningham; grandchildren, Michael Siwierka, Mathew Siwierka, Caitlin Zickefoose, Heather Moore, Tana Siwierka, Sharna Siwierka, Tracy Taylor, Robert Taylor, and Karel Taylor; and many great grandchildren.

Gerri was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mela Wright; brothers, Sonny and Frank Wright; and sister, Frances Wright.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland St., Elyria, where the family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service.  Burial will follow at Brookdale Cemetery.
