Helen L Haskiell

Helen Haskiell, 96 of Elyria passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. She was born in Browns Chapel, West Virginia and moved to Elyria in 1956. She had worked at Empire Springs for 18 years and enjoyed being a homemaker. Helen loved cooking and baking and also enjoyed fishing and crocheting. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly.

Helen is survived by one of her children, Rose Morrone (Alex), and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; children, Nancy Ellan, Fred Haskiell, and Dorothy Burt; 11 brothers and sisters; and 3 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The family will receive friends at the Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland St., Elyria on Friday, August 8 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 9 at 10:00 am, followed by the burial at Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
