John J Jablonski

John J. “Jack” Jablonski, 85 of Elyria passed away peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2026 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Elyria, Ohio and was a 1959 graduate of Elyria High School and a 1964 graduate of The Ohio State University. He was a lifelong fan and alumnus, remaining active in the Cleveland Chapter of the OSU Alumni Association. Jack was also a US Air Force Veteran. He was retired as a CPA from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and continued on practicing as a CPA after his retirement. Jack was also a lifelong member of the Elyria Polish Club.

Jack is survived by his siblings, James Jablonski, Thomas Jablonski (Karen), Carol Korzan (Michael), and Barbara Kakos (Russell); 8 nephews, and 12 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Antonette Jablonski and his sister, Joanna Kasubinski.

The family will receive friends at the Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland St., Elyria, on Monday, October 19 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 20 at 11:00 am at St. Jude Church, 590 Poplar St., Elyria, followed by the interment in St. Mary Cemetery.
