Jonathan Bruce Little, 43, born September 17, 1981, entered Heaven’s gates on Friday, November 8, 2024, and promptly informed God that he “hadn’t exactly been ready, but the view up here is spectacular and here’s hopin’ the fishin’ is too.”
John was the most generous soul, with an easy smile and a disarming charm.
John would want it to be said right here, right now, that he was a simple man who overcame many health struggles and was proudly living his new life, his best life. This was a man always searching for deeper meaning; who found beauty in nearly everyone and in the simplest of things. He would like nothing more than to know that his turn-around in life inspired others on their own life journey.
His tragic death in a workplace accident has robbed us here on Earth, but it is Heaven’s gain.
Forever missing him will be his wife of 25 years, Melissa Little; beloved son, Tye Little; mother, Tammy Sayers Little Rojas; step-father, Hugo Rojas; father, John Little; brother, Jeremy Little (Erin); sisters, Brooke Oldfield, Kayla Palmer, Ashleigh Little, Brianna Little, and Shae Nelson, step-sisters, Ariella and Nina; step-brother, Alex; maternal grandmother; Linda Sayers; “brothers from other mothers”, Rick and Marty Pinter, Mark Shull and Nick Seifert.
John was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Roger Sayers, paternal grandparents, James and Lola Little; and first cousins, Todd Prater and Jimmy Little.
John is also survived by 28 cousins and many nieces, nephews, and aunts and uncles too numerous to mention.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria.
Family and friends are invited afterward to his mother and step-father’s home.
