Robert Joshua Hands

Robert J. Hands, 93 of Florida, passed away at his son’s home on January 17, 2024.  He was born May 30, 1930, in Marianna, PA. Robert spent the last three years being lovingly cared for by his son, Bob and daughter-in-law, Linda, in Daytona Beach Florida. He was previously of Elyria and Sebring, Ohio, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Elyria.

Robert is survived by sons, Robert D. Hands (Linda), Ronald Hands (Kim), and Scott Hands (Robin); ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sisters, Loraine Carr and Patti Virgil.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Evelyn of 69 years; son, Richard Hands; and his parents, Robert S. and Ruth Hands.

The family will receive friends at Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland St., Elyria on Friday, January 26 from 11:00 am until the funeral service at noon. Burial will follow at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
