Rose Eddie

Rose Marie Eddie (nee Cales) 95, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025. She was born on July 7, 1930, in Republic, Pennsylvania, to a family that had migrated from Arkansas after the Dust Bowl devastated their farm.

In 1947, Rose married David Eddie. Together they settled in Elyria, Ohio where they raised their family.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, David, and their children, Dale, Darla, and Bruce. She is survived by her son, David, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Rose will be remembered for her joyful spirit and the simple pleasures she cherished. She loved tending to her small garden, playing bingo with friends, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Her happy presence touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held at a later date.
