Timothy J Gallagher

Timothy J. Gallagher, 78 of Elyria passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. He was a lifelong Elyria resident who served as Vice-President of Lorain National Bank. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Elyria, Elyria Elks, Elyria Evening Lions where he served on the Board of Directors, was a trustee and the treasurer, was on the Board of Directors of Allied Irish Banks, Past President of LaPorte Hot Stove League, Board of Directors of Elyria Junior Achievement, and served on the Board for Day Away (Senior Citizens). In his retirement years he found joy in keeping up with his three grandchildren, sharing corny jokes, planning big family holidays and enjoying the fellowship of golf with many friends.

Timothy is survived by his loving wife Patricia; children, Timothy (Kimberly nee Rader), and Heather Large (Steve); grandchildren, Cameron, Kaila, and Cullen; and a sister, Joellen Alberts. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Alice Gallagher, and brothers, Jim, Tom and Richard Gallagher.

The family will receive friends at the Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland St., Elyria on Monday, September 11 from 4-7pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 12 at 11am at St. Mary’s Church, 320 Middle Ave., Elyria followed by the interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Elyria.
